This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. As a volunteer EMT for 27 years, we were taught that the patient was our priority, which included protecting their dignity. As soon as we were ready to transport, we ensured the patient was comfortable and adequately covered with a sheet and a blanket if the weather was chilly. We did so because of what you experienced. Lights and sirens draw onlookers, including friends, neighbors, and relatives. How the medics that "treated" you missed this critical step is unimaginable. Misogyny is the only reasonable answer. I am sorry you had to go through this experience.
